Lakers vs. Celtics game 3, Stephen Strasburg debut, Yankees-Orioles top tonight's betting card and Bodog previews them all.
It's a series again. After the Lakers cruised past Boston in Game 1 of the NBA Finals, the Celtics answered in Game 2. Ray Allen led the way for Boston, setting a new Finals record with eight three pointers and scoring 27 of his 32 points in the first half.
The Celtics' closer was dynamic young guard Rajon Rondo, who wound up with a triple double after torching L.A. for 19 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists. Boston heads home to the TD Garden as 2.5–point favorites.
The frustrated Lakers got strong efforts from Paul Gasol and Andrew Bynum in Game 2 but Lamar Odom got into foul trouble and Kobe Bryant ended up lamenting that the team was blowing far too many defensive assignments. The talent is there for Los Angeles to bounce back but it will need to get organized and play better as a team to do so.

Will Tuesday's Pittsburgh (+175) at Washington (-210) odds be the most bet-on in Nationals history? Mr. Stephen Strasburg, thought to be the next Nolan Ryan, makes his ultra-hyped major league debut tomorrow against baseball's lowest-scoring team.
Regularly flirting with triple digits on the radar gun, Strasburg tore up Class-AA and AAA to the tune of a 2.08 ERA already this year, striking out 65 hitters in 55 1/3 innings. His pedigree has helped make his team the favorite on Tuesday.
The Pirates turn to Jeff Karstens (1-1, 4.50), who posted a quality start against the Cubs in his last outing. In 8 2/3 career innings versus the Nats, he's allowed nine earned runs and 15 hits. Adam Dunn and Ryan Zimmerman have both hit long flies off Karstens in the past.

The New York Yankees (-230) hope (and expect) to give their MLB baseball betting supporters a big payday when they battle the lowly Baltimore Orioles (+190) for the next few days.
The Bronx Bombers are favorites, even on the road, as they send Phil Hughes (7-1, 2.54 ERA) out at Oriole Park. After a brief blip on the radar to start May, Hughes has returned to dominance. He's won two straight starts, allowing three earned runs and striking out 15 over his last 14 innings. His last outing came against these same Baltimore Orioles; he held them to one run over seven innings.
The O's counter with hard-luck hurler Kevin Millwood (0-6, 4.29 ERA), who is winless in 12 starts this year despite respectable overall numbers. He faced the Yankees last week and they rocked him for six runs, 10 hits, and two homers over 5 2/3 innings.
