Memphis-Kansas Men's Basketball Proposition Wagers

We previewed the pointspread winner for the Kansas Jayhawks and Memphis Tigers Men's basketball National Championship game. Now the staff of OffshoreInsiders.com takes a glance at proposition bets for the big game.

Sports bettors can predict how many points marquee players will score. The over/under for total points by Brandon Rush is 16. One can also bet on who will be leading at the half and at the end of the game. For instance, perhaps Memphis will have the edge at intermission, but Kansas gets the big prize.

On one hand, the oddsmakers expect a very close game, yet basketball gamblers can bet on Memphis to win by two points or less and get +900. Yes, that means punters win nine times what they must risk.

Will there be another blowout just like the semi-final games? Kansas is +2000 to win by 14-16 points.

Bet online regarding the total points and rebound combined of Sasha Kaun (over/under 12), Darnell Jackson (16), Darrell Arthur (17), or Mario Chambers (18).

Cy McCormick of the online betting syndicate MasterLockLine.com thinks the most interesting bet is in which team scores 10 points first. Memphis is the modest favorite at -120. The same odds apply for the squad to reach the 20-point barrier.

There are also various betting options on Antonio Anderson, Joey Dorsey, and Shawn Taggart not to mention players paired against each other much like the popular NFL fantasy football style betting.
