Sports Bettors Get Their Own Cash For Clunkers Bailout

The top sports handicapping site in America, OffshoreInsiders.com has announced Cash for Clunkers program for sports bettors who purchased a lemon from inferior sports betting services.

"There are about 650 sports touts, handicappers, and sports services out there. Only 40-50 or so turn a profit per season and less than a dozen will for an entire year, all sports combined" explains OffshoreInsiders.com CEO Joe Duffy, America's only Grandmaster sports handicapper.

He continues, "We are going to allow the disenfranchised bettor to get cream-of-the-crop selections without having to invest anymore money."

It's pretty simple. Gamblers will trade in their login information from their sports service and in return get MasterLockLine or Stevie Vincent picks for the same duration or until Aug. 31, whichever comes first.

"It's win, win for everyone but the sportsbooks," explains Senior Handicapper Stevie Vincent. Gamblers turn losing plays into winning plays and we know once bettors see our product, we will develop a mutually profitable relationship for years to come," says Vincent matter-of-factly.

To trade their clunker handicapper for their choice of world class services, the MasterLockLine or Stevie Vincent's BetOnSports360, gamblers simply follow these steps:

Email info@offshoreinsiders.com with your login information to your clunker handicapper

·        Specify whether which sports service MasterLockLine or Stevie Vincent it is being cashed in for

Often within minutes, receive login info for elite service Restrictions:

·        Vincent or MasterLockLine password will last until "cashed in" password stays active or Aug. 31, whichever comes first

There is no catch whatsoever. No credit card or payment information is needed. OffshoreInsiders.com is confident enough "Cash for Clunkers" beneficiaries will happily renew at the end of their subscription.

MLB Trading Deadline: No Halladay But Peavy Traded

The MLB baseball trading deadline saw some deals, but Roy Halladay was not one of them.

The biggest move is the Padres sending Jake Peavy to the White Sox for four pitchers Aaron Poreda, Clayton Richard, Dexter Carter, and Adam Russell.

The Boston Red Sox got All-Star catcher Victor Martinez for young pitchers Justin Masterson, Nick Hagadone, and Bryan Price. The Tribe starting emptying the talent when they traded ace Cliff Lee to Philadelphia.

Detroit got pitcher Jarrod Washburn for young pitchers Luke French and Mauricia Robles. Minnesota got Orlando Cabrera from the Oakland A’s for minor league SS Tyler Ladendorf.

In other sports news there is going to be a UFC press conference to announce “a lot of crazy things.”  See the UFC 101 fight lines.

MLB Betting - Saturday Baseball Picks

NFL betting is the last thing on St. Louis fans' minds—wouldn't you block out the memory of the Rams if you were them? -- but they have a good baseball team to watch right now. Their Cardinals host the resurgent Houston Astros in a crucial NL Central matchup this weekend. Who will win Saturday's game—not to mention the pitcher's duel between Philly and San Fran?

Houston Astros @ St. Louis Cardinals
Saturday, August 1, 7:10 p.m. ET
Wandy Rodriguez (10-6, 2.65) vs Chris Carpenter (9-3, 2.19)

Saturday's Astros/Cardinals tilt gives you an opportunity to make a highly "educated guess," as it features two veteran starters who have faced the opposing team—a divisional rival—many times. Wandy Rodriguez has been a machine since the All-Star break and, really, all season long. However, while he was 4-0 with a 0.75 ERA July, he now enters his worst career month (6-9, 5.37 in August). He should hang tough against the Cardinals regardless, as he has a 3.38 ERA at Busch Stadium. He faces world-beater Chris Carpenter, who's 5-1 with a 1.76 ERA at home this season. Carpenter is also 5-3 with four complete games and two shutouts all-time against the Astros, so you should probably bet on the Cards.

Daily sports pick: Cardinals

Philadelphia Phillies @ San Francisco Giants
Saturday, August 1, 9:05 p.m. ET
Joe Blanton (7-4, 4.11) vs Tim Lincecum (11-3, 2.30)

Joe Blanton is portly - not quite in the realm of Charlie Weis in college football betting, but close—yet he's getting it done on the mound lately. He's still serving up homers like crazy but went 3-0 with a 1.21 ERA in July. He'll have to pitch around new Giant Ryan Garko, who has three homers and a 1.509 OPS in just 14 at bats against him, but he's pitching well enough that he should keep the Frisco bats in check.

Cy Young candidate Tim Lincecum takes the hill for the Gaints, fresh off his 15-strikeout performance against Pittsburgh. In theory, it's bad betting management to go against Lincecum, but there's upset value here. Lincecum's career ERA against the Phillies is north of 4.00 and he's allowed a handful of homers against them—something he doesn't do very often. Ryan Howard may get to him, as he's already taken him deep twice in nine at-bats. Lincecum is obviously an amazing pitcher, but even the best have the odd speed bump, and no team is better equipped to get to him than the Phillies.

Daily sports pick: Phillies

Buick Open Odds, Luke French-Jarrod Washburn Trade Headline Sports

Tiger Woods remains the favorite in the revised odds to win the 2009 Buick Open. However, in danger to miss the cut in his first tournament since his Turnberry disaster, Woods is a not-so-prohibitive 7-2.  Jim Furyk and John Senden are next.

Today in the Daily Sports Roundup: The Red Sox begin a series at Camden Yards, the Braves get a visit from the Dodgers, and the CFL continues Week 5.

Sports headlines…

Baltimore will counter with righthander Jeremy Guthrie (7-9, 5.21 ERA), who is coming off a loss to Boston on July 25 (five earned runs in 6 2-3 innings).

The Giants will turn to Ryan Sadowski (2-3, 4.81 ERA), who has taken a loss in each of his last three outings.

NFL Picks: Dallas Cowboys 2010 Super Bowl Champs

The Dallas Cowboys will win the 2010 Super Bowl. Whichever sportsbook football bettors place their bet with will pay a nice recompense. The Cowboys are +1500 to win Super Bowl XLIV according to BetUs.

We do have to give our disclaimer. NFL handicapping is much like coaching. Week to week adjustments are mandatory for successful football betting. Hence, we only wager "lunch money" as to not even subconsciously bias our in-season handicapping by being married to season long futures bets.

Still the Pokes are looking ripe at 15-1.  Why? As any of our long-time clients know, and we have documented many times, football is ultimately won by players who touch the pigskin. However great offenses are not judged by fantasy football stats such as points scored or total yards, but by how well they put the defense where defenses perform the best: on the sidelines.

The 2009-10 Dallas Cowboys may not be the Second Coming of Csonka, Kiick, and Morris, but the triumphant of Marion Barber, Tashard Choice, and Felix Jones has the makings of turning any defense into the No Name Defense II.

Furthermore, Jason Witten is the best tight end in the game, perfect for chain-moving, ball control. A better-than-average offensive line will protect the much maligned, but still upper echelon QB Tony Romo.

Dispensing of Terrell Owens is addition by subtraction. Reading defenses and having a thick enough skin to deal with fan and media criticism is imperative to being an elite quarterback.

But having to deal with a diva teammate who is ready to throw one under the bus at a moments notice is an encumbrance that Romo will no longer deal with.

A talented defense will be among the statistical leaders because they will be greatly aided by a meticulous clock-consuming offense.

No it won't be a perfect season but the Dallas Cowboys will win the 2010 Super Bowl using the same model as the 1972 Miami Dolphins.
