MLB free pick winner for Sunday is on the San Diego Padres +160 against the San Francisco Giants, according to BetUs.
Tim Lincecum certainly is phenomenal and any time he takes the hill can go the distance in a dominant performance but the righty has not been in his true Cy Young form this season and therefore has been a little more hittable and human.
There has been no person on this planet who has gone against the Padres as much as I have and it has burned me a lot of the time. I guess I have undervalued Bud Black's club as they have clearly been far better than most people including myself could have ever imagined. Today though at this price why not back them? Wade LeBlanc is a capable lefthander that was great last time out. He is no Lincecum and I'm not saying he is but the southpaw certainly should hold his own against the decent at best San Francisco lineup.
Neither of these clubs really have an offense to boast about. Each team has made a nice move or two trying to bolster it up with Ludwick and Tejada going to the Pads and Burrell and Guillen coming to the Giants. Granted it's now been a while that Burrell has been living by the bay but it was still a solid mid-season acquisition nonetheless. I would not exactly call any of the four better than good and all in all like I said these lineups are eh.
What does all of the above mean? That this game is more than likely going to finish up something like 2-1 or 3-2 either way.
Certainly Lincecum and the G-Men could get the victory and gain a game on the Friars as they are at home here but it is a very winnable game for the Padres as they are around 20 games over .500 for a reason. The bottom line is that we should be looking at a well-pitched game that comes down to one bounce of the ball or one swing of the bat just like yesterday. In this scenario I will gladly grab such a price back and expect the Pads to grab the series.

For more information: I dropped a 400,000* bomb on Jon Lester and the Red Sox on Saturday and that turned into a third straight winning day. More of the same today as I have yet another 400,000* lock out west between the Blue Jays and Angels. Ricky Romero and Dan Haren both have great upsides but only one will take care of business. Bonus 200,000* Baltimore-Tampa Bay and 100,000* Chicago-St. Louis. Click now to purchase
