Milwaukee is 8-2 at home in the series and 7-2 overall the last nine. The Brewers remain one of the top home teams in sports as they are 35-17 at home +12.5 units. The Giants meanwhile are 20-30 on the highway. Incredibly, they are 9-0 at home with Claudio Vargas.

The Giants Barry Zito continues to disappoint. His road ERA is 5.43 and San Francisco has lost six of his last seven starts. Conversely, the Brewers are 6-1 in Vargas last seven starts.

San Francisco is hitting .250 for the year and .245 in their last seven. The Brewers have the second best OPS in all of Major League Baseball versus lefties (.829).
