NBA Free Picks

Your NBA ATS pick winner for Friday is on the Miami Heat -5 New York.

The Knicks rose up and played a very good ballgame at home against the Celtics on Wednesday. In the end they did cover the game but Amare and company fell a few nanoseconds of the clock and a bucket short. New York controlled the game and probably deserved to win but now to ask them to get up to that emotional high for a second straight game is asking a lot. The big bad Heat are at the Garden and to say that Erik Spelstra's crew is playing well is an understatement. Lebron, Wade and Bosh have clicked after the terrible first few weeks to the season and now are a very confident bunch.

The Knicks are much improved and do have some game with Stoudemire going crazy of late and Ray Felton along with Danilo Galinari playing well but today they play what probably is the best team in the NBA and after pouring so much of their Heart and soul into the game against the Celtics it's just asking a bit much to repeat that feat.

Miami is gunning for their 11th straight win and truly none of the previous 10 have really even been all that close. The last game against the Cavaliers was literally the only game that did not end in a double-digit rout. I do believe that the Heat players were looking past the Cavs a bit towards the game here at the world's most famous arena and even if the Knicks are able to muster something it shouldn't be enough as Miami is just too darn good right now.

Top expert pick: Miami -5
