Because of the suspensions, we didn’t make this a premium pick, but if Phoenix and their home crowd needed any more motivation, the fact the rule book caused great inequity in the suspensions for Robert Horry’s cheapshot, is a rallying cry. The loss of Amare Stoudemire and Boris Diaw does not justify Phoenix being a three point home underdog.
Phoenix still has plenty of talent on the court, home court advantage, momentum and an understandable chip on their shoulder.
