Sports Handicappers Preview of Titans vs. Texans MNF Spread

Here is the official betting preview of the Tennessee Titans and Houston Texans ESPN Monday Night Football. Bodog has Houston laying four points with a total of 48.

The Titans are 3-6 straight up and 4-6 to the number but they've won and covered three straight. Houston is 5-4 straight up and 5-3-1 against the spread, but just 1-2 at home versus the sportsbook number.

Houston has gone under the total in 5-of-6. Tennessee has gone over 6-of-8.

The Titans average a remarkable 5.3 yards per rush against teams normally allowing 4.2 but only 5.8 yards per pass to 6.3. However, the winning streak occurred after Vince Young took over for the inept Kerry Collins.

Defensively the Titans are allowing 4.4 yards per rush teams versus teams normally getting 4.2 and 6.0 yards per play to 5.8.

They allow 4.6 yards per rush to 4.4, 6.6 yards per pass to 6.4 and 5.8 yards per play to 5.5.

Against the spread records: Tennessee is 9-1 as underdogs of 3.5-10 points but they've dropped five straight against teams with a winning record. The Texans are 6-0 off ATS loss. The underdog has covered 9-of-12 in the series.

Over/under angles: Houston has gone over 12-3 off straight up loss and over 8-1 after getting less than 90 yards rushing last game.
