Tulsa-Texas El Paso: Conference USA Tournament Semifinals

The Tulsa Golden Hurricane and the Texas El Paso Miners will both be gunning for a victory on Friday when they meet at FedExForum.

Tulsa got off to a slow start on Thursday, but came back to defeat UAB 75-68 in overtime in the quarterfinals of the Conference USA Tourney. Tulsa won the game as 3.5-point underdogs, while the 143 points made it OVER the posted total of 136.
Jerome Jordan shot 9-for-14 from the field with 23 points for Tulsa and Ben Uzoh added 21 in the win.
Houston lost a thriller 80-77 to UTEP on Thursday in the quarterfinals of the Conference USA Tournament. Houston was a 5-point favorite in the contest, while the 157 points made it OVER the posted total of 154.
Rob McKiver tossed in 24 points, and Kelvin Lewis added 21 in the loss.
