West Region: Belmont (15) vs. Duke (2)

The Belmont Bruins actually get a preferable matchup in the Duke Blue Devils in the first round of the West Region. The Atlantic Sun champs are small, but can fire the three-ball, but face a Duke team that can't punish them upfront with size. It's an interesting battle Thursday when they hit the floor at Verizon Center.
Oddsmakers currently have the Blue Devils listed as 20-point favorites versus the Bruins, while the game's total is sitting at 155.
Duke was defeated 78-74 by Clemson in the semifinals of the ACC Tournament on Saturday, as 4.5-point favorites. The 153 points made it OVER the posted total of 151.5.
Greg Paulus shot 5-for-9 from the field with 17 points in the loss.
