West Virginia-Georgetown: Big East Conference Tournament Semifinals

The West Virginia Mountaineers and the Georgetown Hoyas will both be gunning for a victory on Friday when they meet at Madison Square Garden.

West Virginia upset Connecticut 78-72 in the quarterfinals of the Big East Conference Tourney at Madison Square Garden on Thursday, as 2-point underdogs. The 150 points made it OVER the posted total of 140.
Joe Alexander tossed in a game-high 34 points to lead West Virginia, and Da'Sean Butler added 17 in the win.
