Braves-Rangers Preview

The Atlanta Braves and the Texas Rangers will both be trying to pick up a win on Thursday when they battle at Rangers Ballpark in an interleague contest.

The Braves will give the ball to starter Charlie Morton in this one. Righthander Morton is 1-0 this season with a 4.50 ERA.

The Rangers will counter Morton with Scott Feldman. Righthander Feldman has a 4.55 ERA to go along with a 1-3 record this season.

NewBoDog oddsmakers currently have the Rangers listed as 115-moneyline favorites versus the Braves, while the game's total has not yet been posted.

The Braves rallied for three runs in the ninth inning on Wednesday to come back and defeat the Rangers 5-2 as -120 favorites. The seven runs fell UNDER the posted over/under (11).

Chipper Jones went 2-for-5 with a solo home run for the Braves. Jeff Bennett threw the eighth for the win, and Mike Gonzalez got his first save in closing out the ninth inning.
