Tuesday Betting

The NHL returns from its annual All-Star Break on Tuesday night with 11 games on the schedule. Here's a look at all of the action in your Daily Sports Roundup.

The Gridiron Spotlight

If you like the Steelers' chances of winning the Super Bowl on Sunday, you probably also like Ben Roethlisberger's chances of capturing the game's Most Valuable Player award. Big Ben is the favorite at many sportsbooks on that prop bet heading into the contest, with odds as low as 2/1 at BetUs Sportsbook. Arizona counterpart Kurt Warner has a Super Bowl pedigree as well, and he's second on that list right now.

Other popular MVP options from the Steelers include running back Willie Parker and wide receivers Santonio Holmes and Hines Ward, with Ward (knee) carrying more risk because of his QUESTIONABLE status. Safety Troy Polamalu is among the top Steelers candidates as well. Over on the Cards, wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald is getting lots of MVP action this week, while fellow wideout Anquan Boldin isn't as popular. Running backs Edgerrin James and Tim Hightower round out Arizona's top five candidates to win the Super Bowl MVP.

Of course the biggest question is will we see anything like the Janet Jackson wardrobe malfunction. Troy Polamalu will be appearing in an updated version of the Mean Joe Greene Coke commercial.
