Wednesday Betting Led by Duke-Wake Forest

The Duke Blue Devils sit atop the rankings once again, and they'll try to defend that spot on Wednesday against Wake Forest. Here's your Daily Sports Roundup.

Other Notable Events

The Blue Devils and Demon Deacons are a combined 34-2 straight-up so far this season, but it's 18-1 Duke that has the 10-game winning streak and the No. 1 spot in the current AP Poll. The Gridiron Spotlight

The Cardinals' Larry Fitzgerald is the receiver everyone is talking about heading into the Super Bowl, so it's no surprise that he's the favorite to pick up the most receiving yards on Sunday on the NFL props lines. Teammate Anquan Boldin and the Steelers' Hines Ward follow Fitzgerald on that list at most sportsbooks, although Ward's sore knee could end up cutting into his numbers Sunday night.

BetUs Sportsbook and Bodog Life are among those that even release prop bets on the Super Bowl commercials though the meaty PETA commercial didn't get past the censors. We will leave the second guessing to the Paul Gauguin's armchair quarterback.

The Rest of the Schedule

The NBA rolls out a busy schedule on Wednesday, with a dozen games set for the hardwood. Headlining the early action is Sacramento at Boston, with the Celtics looking to pick up their ninth straight victory. Ray Allen and company blasted Dallas 124-100 last time out, with Allen tossing in 23 points in that victory.

The rest of the early slate: Milwaukee at Indiana, Atlanta at New York, Toronto at New Jersey, Washington at Miami, Detroit at Minnesota, Denver at New Orleans, Memphis at Oklahoma City, and Philadelphia at Houston. The Mavs will then try to bounce back with a win at home over Golden State on Wednesday night, while it's Charlotte at Portland and Chicago at the Clippers in the west-coast contests.

Finally, the NHL offers up just four games on Wednesday, including the Rangers visiting the Penguins for an Atlantic Division matchup. Calgary will also play host to Buffalo, while Chicago visits Anaheim, and Nashville will travel to Vancouver.
