Reasoning: The Greyhounds are certainly not a very good team and the road is never easy but they should outclass their dreadful opponent in Manhattan.
I'm not really sure how the Jaspers have regressed to the point they have but they just have. Bobby Gonzalez not only brought this team to an NCAA Tournament just a few seasons ago but also into top 25 type of a squad and that really wasn't all that long ago. Manhattan seemed to be building a good thing but that is long gone even if just a few short seasons ago. Gonzalez has since left for Seton Hall, been fired by the Pirates and Manhattan has been fairly dreadful ever since.
Tonight's homeboys are 2-11 overall and 0-3 in-conference. The Jaspers beat New Jersey Tech and then Penn to open the season and have not won since. That's right, it's been 11 consecutive losses with only three of the defeats coming by single digits and one of those were by 9 points. It's almost as if the MAAC has been turned upside down recently with teams like Manhattan and Niagara falling all the way to the bottom and Siena not even being the clear cut best team anymore.
Loyola will be lucky to finish up at around .500 in the conference as that is asking a lot but they are without a doubt the far superior team on the court today with Shane Barney and Jamal Walker and in the end may not win this thing going away but I am hard pressed to believe they won't win the game and this price is just too darn cheap to pass up.
