South Carolina-Michigan

Press Notes

The Gamecocks have trailed in two of the four NIT games at the half. In the second half, USC has outscored its opponents 151-130. In the first half, USC has outscored its opponents 124-107. Carolina led WKU by 15 and Louisville by 10 at the break while trailing FSU by three and Cincinnati by six. USC is making its 10th appearance in the NIT and second consecutive. Last season, USC took home the trophy after defeating five teams: Miami, UNLV, Georgetown, Maryland and St. Joe’s.
