The Nats continue or a roll. They are 16-7 their last 23. Ortiz has a team record of 15-7 the last two years to teams with a losing record. Colorado is 5-13 their last 18. Jeff Francis actually has better numbers in Coors, but on the road he’s 1-3 with a 4.21 ERA.

The road team is 5-1 in the series. Ramon Ortiz is in a groove, picking up the win in each of his last five starts with an ERA of 3.06. His WHIP is just above 1.000.
