I suppose this is what some people refer to as a hunch play, though we despise the term.  It’s an educated opinion for us.  Greg Maddux certainly wasn’t as great as he looked in his first five games, but he’s much better than as of late. Pitching against a struggling Cleveland team, we look for this to be his breakout game.

Cleveland is hitting .250 with a .299 OBP their last seven games. They are 3-11 their last 14.  We love when a stud pitcher has the ideal situation to get out of a funk, at that is what we have here.

Going with underdogs of 125-175 with an offense that strikes out six or fewer times per game and a defense that has gone 10 straight games without making more than one error is +88.3 units.

Call it a hunch, call it educated opinion, but best of all, call it a winner.
