The Nets have won 13 straight. The Nets’ defense is allowing 82 points a game during the streak on 40.6 percent shooting (417 for 1027). The Nets are now fifth and sixth in the league in both categories, respectively.

The Pistons can lollygag to the regular-season finale, with a No. 1 seed and home-court advantage secured through the Eastern finals. Miami, meanwhile, is firmly entrenched at No. 2. Tonight, the Pistons will try to win, of course. But they’ll also give the starters a little extra rest and test a few unusual lineups. Facing Dwayne Wade means a long night for Richard Hamilton, who took a shot in his sore hip after Tuesday’s win. Rasheed Wallace will rejoin the Pistons after serving his one-game suspension for accumulating 16 technical fouls.
