America’s Greatest rolls along winning with Baltimore last night closing out yet another sensational week in both college and NFL football. Our latest run is 26-9. PHILADELPHIA +125 NY Rangers
A lot of handicappers blindly subscribe to a so-called turnaround theory in both the NHL and the NBA. Essentially it says when teams play home and home games back-to-back, it’s tougher for the team that won the first game. That theory is flawed, but it certainly applies here as the teams are evenly matched and are off of a shootout of 15 rounds, the second longest in NHL history.
Philly is 18-7-2 at the Rangers since 1996. That includes 3-1 recently.
