MLB

Detroit-St. Louis UNDER 8

It’s a rare case where the road pitcher has been better on the road and the home pitcher has been much better at home.  Detroit’s Nate Robertson, the road hurler, has a 4.15 home ERA, but it’s 3.71 on the road.

The splits are even more pronounced for St. Louis’ Chris Carpenter. His road numbers are a very middling 4.62 ERA with a .311 batting average against.  At home his ERA is 1.85 with a .261 batting average against and .98 WHIP.

St. Louis has a rotten batting average of .232 their last 10 games. St. Louis is hitting just .242 to lefties.
