West Virginia has had a splendid offense but suspect defense. They’ve even admitted tonight they will experiment with new schemes.  This is designed to pay off long-term, but with Louisville on the ledger, they will have to sacrifice some defensive breakdowns tonight in order to experiment.

With the game on national television, look for WVU to showcase their offensive stars of Pat White and Steve Slaton.

The good news for the Huskies is they are off their best defensive effort of the year.  The bad news is that they are playing a completely different offense tonight—the spread.  UConn struggled greatly against a South Florida offense that isn’t in the same league talent wise as WVU. Plenty of points for each team abounds.
