Previously we handicapped the Democratic race for United States President

Previously we handicapped the Democratic race for United States President.  In short, Appalachian State has a better chance at beating Michigan at the Big House than anyone does of topping Hillary Clinton.

You said Appalachian State did what? Well lightning won't strike twice.  The big question is who will Senator Clinton face in the general election by winning the Republican nomination?

"America's Mayor" Rudy Giuliani is the favorite at even money according to BetUs Sportsbook.  Former Tennessee Senator Fred Thompson, who finally entered the race, is next at +150. Thompson is the most conservative of the major candidates.

Combined with the fact he is a 65-year-old former actor, the Reagan conservatives could prove to the decider. Once frontrunner John McCain is now a relative long shot at +450, but Democratic and Republican voters have one major thing in common—they are very fickle. A comeback by the Arizona Senator would surprise few Presidential historians.

Mitt Romney is actually between Thompson and McCain at +300. Sports betting expert Joe Duffy, also well versed in political handicapping says, "Never count out a Republican who can win in the liberal bastion of Massachusetts."  Romney was Governor in the left-leaning state.

Mike Huckabee with betting odds at +1500, Tommy Thompson and Sam Brownback each at +1800, and Chuck Hagel at +2500 are among the soon-to-be also-rans. Former Idaho Senator Larry Craig, who got the endorsement of America's only openly gay sports handicapper Oscar Dooley, is not listed.

Political, entertainment, Global Warming and many other betting odds are available at BetUs Sportsbook widely considered among the most reliable sportsbooks in the world.
