ONLY NFL PLAY: COLTS LEADS TO ANOTHER WINNING DAY! NAVY V. RUTGERS WISE GUY, 3 MLB MAJORS + WISE GUY

We just added four baseball including a Wise Guy to our Navy-Rutgers Wise Guy play on the side. Off a profitable preseason, the regular season is off to a nice start with the Colts cashing in easily. No handicapper dominates any sport the way Joe Duffy’s GodsTips does the NFL. But don’t let that overshadow how darn good we are in college football.

We start out a humungous weekend with a Wise Guy play on Navy-Rutgers side.  Plus, we know we will have a minimum of three CFB Wise Guy plays Saturday, plus sundry Majors.  Get at least the four-day pass now. You get the all of today’s Joe Duffy’s GodsTips  $17 at OffshoreInsiders.com.

Navy-Rutgers OVER 48.5

Coaches always, always have a tendency to showcase Heisman candidates when given the chance. Rutgers gets a rare showcase tonight for running back Ray Rice and potential postseason award candidate quarterback Mike Teel.

While everyone associates a slow moving team with Navy, this is simply not true as shown by a pretty high scoring game (49 points) against another Big East team in the Meineke Bowl.

As sluggish as Navy was last week against Temple, they still rolled up 439 yards.  True Rutgers is a better team, but Navy is capable of playing better than they were against the Owls.  They have speedy Reggie Campbell to keep the defense honest and even their fullback Adam Ballard is known for the big play.

Also, Navy’s quarterback, and let’s see if I get his name right, Kaipo-Noa Kaheaku-Enhada is their best passing quarterback since Roger Staubach. He will throw a lot more than he did against Temple because he will have to.

Rutgers good news on the injury front is on offense, wide receiver Tim Brown is expected to play. But middle linebacker Ryan D’Imperio out and starting defensive tackle Pete Tverdov is questionable to doubtful and has not been practicing.

Even Scarlet Knight’s head coach Greg Schiano admits they will have a tougher time defending the triple option.  They lost most of the linebacking corps from last year and lineman Ramel Meekins.

Expect plenty of points.
