Here is where we can exploit one of the great myths is sports betting. So many gamblers love to outsmart themselves and blindly go against allegedly "tired" teams. But Cleveland is in a nice groove, winning 3-of-4 straight up with their only loss by two points at a darn good Utah team. Now the Eastern Conference Champs get to make a statement. Remember another one of our betting Golden Rules: we bet on inconsistent teams to be inconsistent. Denver is one game above .500 and we've said many times, their vaunted 1-2 punch is a case of the total being less than the sum of its parts.
Cleveland is in a groove, it's a good chance with something to prove (poetry unintentional) and we are just not sold on the big chalk Nuggets.
