Oh what a night—again. The Steelers easily continued our NFL dominance as the NFL ESPN Game of the Year. The NY Rangers under continued our NHL domination. We have Wise Guy plays in college football, two in the NBA, and another in the NHL. We have our first of many moneyline (a nice dog) NBA plays among five NBA.

Like we keep telling you (and exploiting on a yearly basis), while preseason results mean little over the long haul, it is a good indication as to which teams will come out of the gate quickly or slowly and the Hawks are just the latest example.
Fresh off a great preseason, they beat Dallas by seven (a GodsTips Wise Guy) and went on the road and lost by just one to Detroit. Also as we tell you, ATS trends mean little, but "margin of cover" or spread loss is a valuable tool in seeing which teams are over and undervalued.
