NFL Odds: Sports Betting News and Notes For Early NFL

Here are sports betting news and notes for the Sunday football card from the staff of OffshoreInsiders.com Don't forget, key NFL injuries will be updated in the morning.

Rams-Saints

St. Louis is winless in eight games. The Saints have won four straight after starting out 0-4. They've averaged 30.5 points per game in their last four after averaging 12.8 in their initial four. Saints quarterback Drew Brees has 11 touchdowns and one interception in the last four games with a QB rating of 115.1.

The Rams will likely have running back Steven Jackson, but he will be less than 100 percent.

Browns-Steelers

Cleveland erased a 21-6 deficit to beat Seattle in overtime last week. Pittsburgh is off a short week following their huge win over Baltimore on Monday, a winner for GodsTips as their ESPN Game of the Year. The NFL Betting Specialists have their NFL Game of the Year going Sunday at OffshoreInsiders.com

The Steelers have won eight straight in the series by a combined 231-94 score. They lead the lead in scoring defense at 12.3 points per game and total defense and 237.8 yards.

Broncos-Chiefs

Denver has lost 5-of-6 straight up. Two of Denver's losses this year have been by 37 or more points. Always tough at home, the Chiefs have won four straight at Arrowhead in the series and 7-of-8.

KC is 15-5 the last three years straight up at home. They face a Broncos team that is dead last in rush defense allowing 161.5 yards per game. The Chiefs are without running back Larry Johnson who has rushed for four straight 100-yard games against Denver, averaging 143.5 yards per game in those meetings.

Vikings-Packers

Going back to last year, Green Bay is a stunning 11-1 in their last 12 games straight up. We will confirm Sunday morning at OffshoreInsiders.com, but it looks like Brooks Bollinger gets the nod at QB for Minnesota.

Minnesota is second in the NFL in rush defense after leading the league last year.

Falcons-Panthers

Carolina has lost their last five home games. The Panthers have a 4-1 series advantage in the series by a 111-60 margin.

Simply put, the top sports service on the planet is GodsTips. Off a 6-3 week last week in the NFL, their remarkable season continues with the one and only NFL Game of the Year going Sunday. It's among three Wise Guy plays and three Major plays all for just $17 at OffshoreInsiders.com.

Bills-Dolphins

Buffalo is on a three-game winning streak including outscoring Cincinnati 17-0 in the fourth quarter last week.  They've won 4-of-5 after an 0-3 start. In those three losses, Buffalo averaged 8.0 points per game and 200 yards. In the aforementioned five games since, they've gotten 21.2 points per game and 320.2 yards per game.

Buffalo is 5-1 straight up in the series. Miami is 0-8 this year.

Jaguars-Titans

Jacksonville allowed just 58 points in their first five games going 4-1, but in their last three, they've given up 93 going 1-2. Tennessee has won three straight, 5-of-6 and going back to last year 12-3.

Part of their struggles is due to ball control quarterback David Garrard missing the last two weeks and most of another. He is considered a game time decision.

Eagles-Redskins

Philadelphia is 6-1 their last seven in the Nation's Capitol. Washington's defense does not give up the big play, allowing a league low one rush of more than 20 yards.

Late breaking weather and injury info for the fantasy football player and NFL bettor are Sunday morning at OffshoreInsiders.com
