Sunday NBA Picks, Predictions, and Odds Information

The 2009 NBA playoffs continue and here are spread betting previews from the top NBA handicapping site. All quoted records are against the spread except when over/under trends are specifically noted.

Utah-LA Lakers

The Jazz are 10-2 playing on three or more days rest. Utah is 5-16 to the NBA odds on the road versus an opponent with a winning home record. They are 2-14 their last 16 as an underdog,

The Lakers are 7-16 as a favorite of 11 or more.   The home team has covered 13-of-17 and the Lake Show is 8-1 their last nine in the City of Angels.

Philadelphia-Orlando

The Sixers are 2-9 as an underdog of 5-10.5. They are 1-7 on three days rest. Orlando is 53-20 to an opponent that allowed 100 or more in their last game. The Magic though have lost six straight to the Atlantic Division.

Betting the underdog is 23-11 in the series.

Miami-Atlanta

The Heat are 20-42-3 off a straight up win. They are 3-13 on three or more days rest. The Hawks have dropped 5-of-6 at home. Miami is 21-8 the last 29 series meetings to the NBA betting odds.

New Orleans-Denver

The Hornets are 4-17 as an underdog 5-10.5. They are 7-17 their last 24 as an underdog. Denver is 21-5-1 as home favorites of 5-10.5. However, Denver is 3-15 their last 18 Conference Quarterfinals contests.
