NFL Game of the Year

The NFL Network has an early start as the Colts take on the Lions in Detroit. The biggest story in this contest is that the single greatest NFL handicapper off all-time GodsTips has the NFL Preseason Game of the Year on this game.

BetUs Sportsbook has the point spread Indianapolis -3 with a total of 40.

The QB battle for the Lions is still up in the air. It is between veteran Daunte Culpepper and top overall pick Matt Stafford. Culpepper gets the start and will play until midway through the second quarter. Stafford will play through the third quarter and Drew Stanton plays in the fourth.

Last week Detroit was minus each of their four top receivers: Calvin Johnson, Bryant Johnson, Dennis Northcutt, and Brandon Pettigrew. All four were originally expected to play, but now it looks like Northcutt is out.

NFL professional bettors will note that the Lions will be without starting QBs Phillip Buchanon, Anthony Henry, and as mentioned, Northcutt.

Starting LG Ryan Lilja is out for Indianapolis. Colts QB Jim Sorgi is doubtful, but has not been ruled out. Curtis Painter is the only other quarterback on the roster. Peyton Manning is expected to play until early in the third quarter.

Five front line players are among 11 Indy guys who are out. In addition to the above, their best defensive player Bob Sanders remains out.

Top expert pick on this game: The top handicapper in the land has the NFL Game of the Year going for day action among five NFL winners. GodsTips has an additional Wise Guy in the NFL. So far, there have been four Wise Guys in the NFL. Three have won. Two more go today including the Preseason Game of the Year, which is 16-5-1 the last 22 going back to our scorephone days. MLB is coming. Click now to purchase at OffshoreInsiders.com
