Matt Rivers has a free pick on the Lakers at BetUs laying seven to Phoenix.
I don't like the Lakers enough to make this a pay play as I was on the Suns in game one and got burned but after watching that thing play out we could easily be looking at another outclassing, at least at Staples.
Kobe was money in the opener and the bigs were just too much in the paint for Amar'e and the visitors. Phil Jackson's team seems to have put it together after some mediocre play in these playoffs and now are ready to really sharpen things up and repeat. It appears like that killer instinct is back and with Bryant leading the way we are seeing Gasol, Odom, Artest and others follow. Even with Andrew Bynum banged up the Lakers didn't miss a beat as Odom and Gasol were too powerful, fluid and athletic inside for the Suns defense.
Phoenix looked great in the postseason and for the entire regular season for that matter. Alvin Gentry did a great job improving the defense but all of that meant very little in that first game and I would not be too shocked if history repeated itself now 48 hours later.
Nash and Stoudemire are great and may be great but a half of a dozen is not all that much and I think in the end the Lakers go up 2-0 and do so in another cover.
For more information: Two plays today on the diamond and one absolute bomb from Chavez Ravine. It's the Padres and Dodgers going at it and I'm loving this game with a capital L. Screw the hoops because that is not at all where the value is tonight.
I certainly did it again on Tuesday in the 3-1 day for right at 700,000* of profit with the only loser coming in extra innings at Camden Yards. It doesn't get much easier than the Giants over the total by 7 runs, the Celtics outright and the Blue Jays by 9 runs. Seven of nine winning days now and about to be eight of ten. 500,000* San Diego-Los Angeles and a bonus 200,000* Toronto-Seattle. Click now to purchase
