Ubaldo Jimenez (9-1, 0.88 ERA) is set to take on Tim Lincecum (5-1, 3.00 ERA) in a high-powered pitching matchup in that last contest. Righthander Jimenez kept the wins coming last time out, holding the Diamondbacks scoreless on six hits over eight innings of work. Righthander Lincecum fell to the Nationals in his last trip to the mound, surrendering six earned runs on six hits in 4 2-3 innings while taking the loss.

The Blackhawks outlasted the Flyers in a 6-5 home victory as a -200 favorite in the opener on Saturday night, with Tomas Kopecky providing the game-winning goal. Troy Brouwer scored twice for the Hawks in that contest, while Dave Bolland, Patrick Sharp, and Kris Versteeg provided singles.
