I have no issues with the Pirates and give them credit for surprisingly winning the series in Wrigley against the always underachieving Cubs but when push comes to shove this thing may be in the neighborhood of 9-3, if not worse.
Howard, Utley, Werth, Victorino and on and on are great. The Fightin' Phils have gone been in back-to-back World Series and I can't see the struggling Charlie Morton do much about it here in the City of Brotherly Love. The former Brave righthander has had a few great starts since being traded but he has had many more stinkers and is not in a very favorable spot here at all.
The Phils did just play on Sunday night and had to travel back home from Milwaukee making this a late night but in baseball that is not really all that important. Fatigue is not really much of an issue on the diamond and especially when involving a focused and ultra professional club like the Phillies.
I truly don't see how this game can't be a blowout and laying 1 ½ runs and not much of a price makes this a semi gift.
