Anyone who cares about long-term winning is a permanent client of Godspicks. But as far as those who like the hot hand, The Center of the Handicapping Universe Godspicks.com is 8-2 in the NHL including nailing all four Wise Guy plays, led by Dandy Dog Edmonton again last night.

In the NBA our solid start to finish playoff run sees us 5-2 with Wise Guy plays.  While every sucker and their brother had Cleveland yesterday, we nailed Detroit.  Tonight a lot of suckers are on the wrong side and we have a Wise Guy play on the NBA winner.  We have three MLB including a Wise Guy.

Wise Guy plays from Godspicks are widely accepted by high rollers, bookmakers, linesmakers, and fellow handicappers as the biggest play in the handicapping abyss. This is just fact. The ENTIRE card  is just $17 at www.godspicks.com.  Alternate forms of payment are available. Godspicks is proud to be part of the Handicapper’s Sampler rundown of which sports services are hot and who has the big play at JoeDuffy.net

NBA

Clippers-Suns

USA Today

In the Suns-Clippers series, the winning team has failed to score 100 points only once and the Clippers are averaging 114.3 points, 17.1 more than in the regular season. The Suns are averaging 109.8, 1.4 more than the regular season.

All Headline News

The Suns are now headed into their second straight game seven. Last round, the Suns defeated the LA Lakers, 121-90 back at home in game seven. The Suns appeared to be a little sluggish out on the floor. Phoenix had good reason to be tired, they’ve played every other day since April 26, for a total of 12 games in 22 days.

Mavericks-Spurs

American Statesmen

The Spurs were not built for this series, which is tied at three victories apiece before the decisive game tonight in San Antonio. The Spurs’ roster, Walton suggested, was put together for tangling with Shaquille O’Neal — first with the Los Angeles Lakers, now Miami — and the Detroit Pistons. Those are teams generally constructed along traditional lines, their offense produced by a mix of players posting up inside, driving and shooting from the perimeter. Dallas, on the other hand, is predominantly a perimeter-based team that drives and shoots a lot of jump shots. The Mavs, quick and skilled, have forced San Antonio to use a smaller lineup, negating to a large degree the Spurs’ biggest asset while winning three NBA titles since 1999: interior defense. Fortunately for the Spurs, they have adapted well enough to win the last two games. Recent NBA history suggests that the Spurs have an advantage tonight. Since 2000-01, home teams have a 13-3 record in the seventh game of playoff series. But in this matchup, who really knows? The teams have split 10 games this season, each winning twice on the road. Dallas won Game 2 in San Antonio by 22 points, the only blowout of the series. The other five have been decided by a total of 14 points. In Game 6, Dallas shot 38.6 percent, scoring 39 points in the second half. The Mavs shot airballs at the end of all three Spurs’ victories, one apiece by Jerry Stackhouse, Terry and Nowitzki. The absence of Terry, an adept shooter who scored 32 points in Game 4, enabled the Spurs to provide help against other Mavericks on Friday. Stackhouse missed 11 of 15 shots, Devin Harris 11 of 14. Now Terry returns, and the Spurs have regained homecourt advantage.  In this series, the Spurs have allowed 113.3 points in their three defeats and 89.3 while winning.

WOAI.com

Dallas already has blown two chances to advance. A third would make the Mavericks only the ninth team in league history to squander a 3-1 series lead.
