American Idol betting odds have not been released insofar as specific contestants, but several propositional plays have been. One can bet on which gender will win American Idol 7: male and female now even money with 20-cent juice.
Which celebrity will be the first to appear as a guest judge, performer or mentor on American Idol? Defending champ Jordin Sparks is the heavy favorite at 10/11. Blake Lewis is next at 6/1. Also on the list is Sanjaya Malakar at 30/1 (is he a celebrity?), Liza Minelli (good to know she's still alive), Michael Jackson (too many jokes to narrow it to just one), Paul McCartney, Gene Simmons, Bono/U2, Bruce Springsteen, Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, Britney Spears, and Tay Zonday.
