This is one of those examples of a recently refined theory that has proven extremely accurate especially after back tracking. If one team has played has played a disproportionate percentage of their games on the road, and the other at home, the team that has played the fewer home games is generally undervalued.

Believe it or not, Philadelphia has played 25 of their 40 games so far on the road. They are 3-2 their last five at home and with the Iverson fiasco behind them are now focusing on the future.  A competitive game here will be a huge boost.
