VILLANOVA -3.5 Notre Dame

Notre Dame was crushed in their only road game, losing to Georgetown 66-48. Then the Hoyas played Nova. Villanova turned up its pressure defense to force 22 turnovers and befuddle a Georgetown team that had picked apart Notre Dame two days prior.

Plus Villanova has chosen to increase the home court advantage rather than show them the money at the larger, but less raucous professional arena.

For only the second time in this series, and first since Jan. 2, 1996, Notre Dame visits Villanova’s on-campus facility. The Pavilion is a 6,500-seat zoo sure to be the loudest and most difficult place the Irish play this season.
