NBA
GOLDEN STATE +5 Cleveland
Dichotomous spread team. We discount 98 percent of trends, but this has proven to be the exception to the rule. Explained in our articles around the Net, basically if a team has a great SU record but horrid ATS record or visa versa, you ride for that to continue as it is the sign of which teams are most under or overvalued.
Cleveland is 15-6 at home SU, but 8-13 ATS. However, they have lost three in a row at home SU and 6-of-8 SU. They are are starting to show signs of discontent with Coach Mike Brown. Former Warriors G Larry Hughes took a jab at Brown’s defensive-minded style after Sunday’s loss to Phoenix, telling the Cleveland Plain Dealer: “We need to run more. Trying to call us a defensive team when we need to put the ball in the basket is not what we need.”
King LeBron James is playing with a bad toe and may not even play tonight. Golden State is 4-15 SU on the road. They’ve covered two straight on the road.
