Falcons-Saints

Guardian Unlimited

The New Orleans Saints and the Atlanta Falcons are both unbeaten after two weeks and looking to take command of the division. Emotions will be high as the Superdome, a badly damaged makeshift shelter during last year’s Hurricane Katrina, opens its doors for the first time since the storm.  New Orleans opened with two road victories for the first time in the 39-year history of the franchise, defeating the Cleveland Browns 19-14 and the Green Bay Packers 34-27. The game marks the home debuts of Bush and quarterback Drew Brees, who signed as a free agent in March. With the scrambling abilities of All-Pro quarterback Michael Vick and the league’s leading rusher in Warrick Dunn with 266 rushing yards, Atlanta prefers to grind it out on the ground, amassing the league’s top rushing average of 279 yards per game.
