Pittsburgh-Cubs UNDER 8.5
All of a sudden Rich Hill has gotten himself into a groove giving up 2 ER, no unearned in his last 15 IP. Zach Duke is better than he’s shown, in part because he gets no run support, he’s pitched less than what he’s capable. However in a very winnable road game, we look for him to have a bit extra concentration, which he has lacked this year.
Hill has very dichotomous splits. His road ERA is 7.81 with a 1.63 WHIP, but at home it’s 3.35 and 1.22.
