Not that there was any doubt in the minds of our long-term clients, but what a sensational week it has been. 16-9 overall, includes 6-1 with Wise Guy plays. We are 7-3 the last two nights. We swept Monday and Thursday night NFL. In fact we are undefeated with the NFL Network games.

MINNESOTA +1 Detroit

We do subscribe to the “90 percent of the game is half mental” axiom, as regular clients know.  Minnesota has a mental edge over Detroit. The Vikings have found ways to win against the Lions (2-10), taking nine straight meetings and 13 of the last 14. Minnesota leads the all-time series 59-29-2, winning more games against Detroit than any other team.

The Vikings rallied from a 14-point fourth-quarter deficit and scored 23 unanswered points to beat the Lions 26-17 in Week 5.

 

They have an astounding run defense, holding teams normally getting 3.9 yards per rush to just 2.8. They take on a horrid Detroit team that has lost four straight. The Lions will play the rest of the year without defensive tackle Shaun Rogers, who was placed on injured reserve Wednesday after playing in only six games this season.
