YaVaughnie Wilkins, Charles Phillips Affair Tops Entertaiment News

It’s the latest Hollywood gossip and news roundup from Bodog.

We’ve all heard of the scorned wife in the extra-marital affairs of men – but the scorned mistress? After engaging in an eight-year affair, YaVaughnie Wilkins, got revenge when she learned her longtime lover, Charles E. Phillips, president of Oracle, and a member of Barack Obama’s Economic Recovery Advisory Board, had reconciled with his wife.

Wilkins posted billboards in three major cities which displays her and Phillips in happier times, with the captions “You are my soulmate forever!” and “Charles & YaVaughnie.” The billboards, which cost Wilkins an upwards of $250,000, were posted in Times Square, Atlanta and in San Francisco. Wilkins lives in San Francisco and Phillips, whose homebase is in New York, owns a home there and Oracle’s headquarters are also based there.

Phillips’ wife, Karen, filed for divorce in February 2008, but the couple have apparently reconciled.

In a statement Thursday, Phillips said, “I had an eight-and-a-half-year serious relationship with YaVaughnie Wilkins. My divorce proceedings began in 2008… The relationship with Ms Wilkins has since ended and we both wish each other well.”

The New York Post apparently went to Phillips’ door for a comment on the billboards. When Phillips opened the door he said, “Oh man. I’m sorry,” then he closed the door.

The drama does not seem to end for the stars of Two and a Half Men. First, there was the Charlie Sheen domestic violence drama, then Sheen’s wife has been in the ICU for reported pneumonia, now Emmy-winning Jon Cryer, who plays Sheen’s brother on the show, may have been the target of a hit orchestrated by his ex wife, Sarah Trigger.

Last Friday, security descended onto the sound stage of Two and a Half Men and the show was taped without an audience due to a supposed murder plot targeting Cryer. Now the FBI is investigating Trigger, who claims the allegations are ludicrous.

Trigger’s lawyer Vicki Greene told Eonline.com, “This is the father of her child and I think it’s outrageous that these rumours are being spread. I can tell you that Sarah and I have not been contacted by the FBI. I don’t think she’s involved at all.”

In an interview with RadarOnline.com, Greene suggested Cryer is jealous of the attention Sheen has been getting and cooked up the story for press.

“Maybe he’s tired of Charlie Sheen getting all of the attention. None of this is going on. I can’t even believe this whole story. It’s a fabrication of his imagination,” Green said.
