Bododg Sportsbook Previews ESPN Tennessee at Alabama and Purdue at Illinois

It’s a great sports card tonight and Bodog previews some of the top games including these two ESPN college basketball spread matchups: Tennessee vs. Alabama and Purdue vs. Illinois.

Tennessee Volunteers coach Bruce Pearl has reinstated two suspended players ahead of tonight’s visit to Alabama as the Vols look to extend their longest winning streak of the season to seven versus the Crimson Tide.

College basketball betting odds have the Volunteers listed as 2.5-point favorites.

Starting forward Tyler Smith was dismissed from the team and reserve center Brian Williams remains suspended, but guards Melvin Goins and Cameron Tatum returned to practice Sunday after Pearl learned more details about the incident.

Pearl was also thrilled after the 4-0 homestand, which included a 76-68 win over Kansas on Jan. 10 and a 26-point victory over Auburn on Thursday. The Vols finished it off with a 71-69 overtime win over Mississippi on Saturday.

The Vols will be trying to extend their longest winning streak since they won nine in a row Jan. 26-Feb.23, 2008, and they’ll also be hoping to deal Alabama a third straight defeat.

The Purdue Boilermakers look to snap a three-game losing streak tonight when they face an Illinois Fighting Illini team coming off its first Big Ten defeat.

NCAA basketball betting odds have the Boilermakers listed as 3-point road favorites.

After losing 72-64 at Northwestern on Saturday, the Boilermakers will try to hand the Illini their first loss in 11 home games this season. Illinois is coming off its first Big Ten defeat, 73-63 to Michigan State on Saturday.

The Illini rank second in the Big Ten in rebounding at 38.1 boards a contest. Poor play in the paint, meanwhile, has contributed to Purdue’s skid.

The Boilermakers were beaten on the glass in all five Big Ten games, getting outrebounded by an average of 8.2 in those contests. The Wildcats dominated them 42-23 on the boards.

The Boilermakers, losers of two straight to the Illini, lead the series 89-84
