The sportsbooks are hurting after GodsTips NCAA Game of the Year on Baylor over St. Mary's was a wire-to-wire win. The nation's top sports handicappers are raking it in during March Madness 2010 betting.
The NCAA Tournament has already been as incredibly as anyone could ask, but the action continues Saturday with the Elite Eight. First, No. 5 Butler goes for another upset, this time against No. 2 Kansas State. Then, No. 1 Kentucky will take on No. 2 West Virginia.
No. 1 Kentucky vs. No. 2 West Virginia – Saturday at 7:05 p.m. ET
After crushing No. 12 Cornell on Thursday, Kentucky (35-2, 19-15 ATS) looks like a runaway freight train; the Wildcats have completely dominated the NCAA Tournament so far, beating East Tennessee State, Wake Forest and Cornell by 29, 30 and 17 points, respectively. The Wildcats have been just as charmed at the sportsbook; they've covered all three of their March Madness games and are 4-1 in their last five games on NCAA basketball odds.
The Mountaineers (30-6, 15-19 ATS) have blasted their way to nine consecutive victories. They exploded for 42 points in the second-half against Washington on Thursday to earn a 69-56 win. That followed up wins over Morgan State (77-50) and Mizzou (68-59). Not only has West Virginia been impressive straight up, it has played exceptional at the sportsbook; the Mountaineers are 3-0 in their last three games against the spread.
There's no doubt both these teams have looked sharp but, quite frankly, Kentucky looks unstoppable right now. The Wildcats will cover and advance to the Final Four.

No. 2 Kansas State vs. No. 5 Butler – Saturday at 4:30 p.m. ET
Butler (31-4, 14-20 ATS) delivered an impressive performance on Thursday, knocking off No. 1 Syracuse 63-59—when the Orange were rolling, no less. It shouldn't come as a surprise, though, as the Bulldogs own the nation's longest winning streak at 23 games. Butler kicked off the tourney by topping UTEP 77-59 and followed it up with a 54-52 win over Murray State. The team is also playing sound basketball at the sportsbook; Butler has covered three of its last four games on college basketball odds.
Kansas State (29-7, 21-9 ATS) cruised to victory in its opening two games, topping North Texas (82-62) and BYU (84-72). The Wildcats had their hands full against No. 6 Xavier in the Sweet 16, though, as they came away with a tight 101-96 overtime victory. K-State has been solid if unspectacular at the sportsbook; it failed to cover against the Musketeers and is now 4-2 against the spread in its last six games on NCAA basketball odds.
It's hard to argue with Butler's results, but Kansas State's offense is out of control. The Wildcats are averaging an absurd 89 points per game right now. They'll run-and-gun to a victory.
NCAA Basketball Odds winner: Kansas State
