NCAA Basketball Odds: Butler vs. Syracuse and Kentucky vs. Cornell

Super bookie Bodog previews more of the NCAA Tournament brackets in the Sweet 16. No.1 Syracuse will continue its drive for a National Championship against the No. 5 Butler Bulldogs; the West Region NCAA Tournament bracket resumes on Thursday.

Nobody is complaining about Syracuse's top-seeding now, are they? The Orange (21-9 ATS) blasted No. 16 Vermont 79-56 before easily finishing off Gonzaga 87-65.

Star guard Shelvin Mack torched UTEP for 25 points but scored just 11 against Murray State. Regular season leading scorer Gordon Hayward is averaging 12.5 points during March Madness.

More NCAA Basketball Odds previews from Bodog sportbook: The East Region NCAA Tournament bracket continues Thursday night with No. 1 Kentucky vs. No. 12 Cornell.

Kentucky (19-15 ATS) cruised to victory in its first two games, winning 100-71 over No. 16 East Tennessee State and 90-60 over No. 9 Wake Forest. That makes it seven straight wins for the Wildcats.

Guard Eric Bledsoe has been explosive for Kentucky; he's averaging 21 points per game during March Madness. Freshman sensation John Wall is averaging 15.5 points and 9.0 assists in his two outings.

Cornell (18-10 ATS) has put together nine consecutive wins after easily moving past high seeds in the tourney's first two rounds. The Big Red topped No. 5 Temple 78-65 and beat back No. 4 Wisconsin 87-69.

Guard Louis Dale has paced Cornell with 23.5 points per game during the Tournament.
