NFL Wild Card Playoff Round: Spread Trends

We've given you game-by-game sports betting analysis; now it's time to re-examine this week's NFL playoff matchups with a special eye for the spread. Follow these trends to the money; all records listed are against the spread.

Jets vs. Bengals

Jets are 4-1 in their last five road games and 5-0 in their last five road games as an underdog of 0.5-3.0 points. But could last week's beating have made Cincinnati mad? Bengals are 4-0 in last four after scoring less than 15 points in their previous game. Bengals are also 7-2 against teams with winning records.

Eagles vs. Cowboys

Eagles are 5-0 in last five playoff games as an underdog and 7-0 in last seven games as a road underdog of 3.5-10.0 points. Cowboys are 4-0 in last four after allowing less than 90 rushing yards in their previous game. But will Dallas choke? Cowboys are 1-5 in last six playoff games.

Ravens vs. Patriots

It's the Ray Rice show. Ravens are 9-2 in last 11 games after running for more than 150 yards in the previous game. Patriots play tight in the playoffs – they're 0-4 in last four playoff games and 1-5 in last six playoff games against teams with winning road records.

Packers vs. Cardinals

Green Bay is coming in hot at the sportsbook. Packers are 5-0-1 in last six against NFC and 6-0-1 in last seven games on grass. Packers are also 5-0-1 in last six games following a win against the spread. But look out! Cardinals are 4-0 in last four playoff games and 6-1 in last seven January games. Under is 5-0 in last five Cardinals games on grass.
