Friday Free NBA Pick

The Iranian Cyber Army did hack the Twitter sports betting headquarters, but it is no longer down. Before today's free sports pick, check out the betting news section for an interesting article on the Robin Hood Gambler, plus the latest on David Stern's suddenly progressive view on sports betting.

Super handicapper Matt Rivers has a free winner on the Washington Wizards in Golden State. BetUs Sportsbook  has them getting 2.5.

Monta Ellis is really becoming a man this season as he seems to score 30 plus every single night but it really doesn't matter as this Golden State Warrior team is just awful. Don Nelson's squad is now 7-18 after losing a fourth straight game both SU and ATS on Wednesday against a semi struggling San Antonio team.

It was just a few seasons ago where the Warriors shocked the Mavericks in the playoffs  and rode that monster home court advantage to the series upset. But now this franchise is in complete freefall after a total 180 from those playoff memories.

I am not at all saying that the Wizards are an overachieving group this season as they have lost way too many games with their talent but they do have legitimate basketball players in Gilbert Arenas, Antawn Jamison and Caron Butler. For whatever reason this has not been resulting in many victories this season as 7-16 is not that much better than what Golden State's record is but when push comes to shove tonight's visitors are so much more talented.

Washington has now lost six in a row but it's not the blowout defeats like Golden State. The Wiz have been in pretty much all of these games but are just falling short in the end. I have really never seen anything like this. Just look at the last six final scores: 112-109, 97-95, 114-113, 104-102, 98-94 and 109-107. Seriously are you kidding me? Six losses by a combined 14 points? That is not the definition of a bad team that has quit. There is truly a lot of just plain old bad luck in that which is creating some value here as most of the public just looks at six in a row losses and says they stink but they really don't.

One could say that Washington doesn't know how to finish games with those results but I would beg to differ there because they do have three All-Star players and each of them has had past success in crunch time with Arenas being a total stud when the chips are down a lot of times.

It's not the lock of my life but I'll take my chances with the Wizards here breaking through for the win.
