The Trojans (8-4 SU, 3-0 ATS) will be looking to cap off a disappointing season with a win over the Eagles (8-4 SU, 6-5 ATS) in the day’s late contest. Southern Cal was defeated 21-17 by Arizona in their last matchup, with Matt Barkley throwing for 144 yards.

Tipping off on the hardwood . . .

The NBA offers up 10 games on Saturday, including Atlanta (20-8 SU, 20-8 ATS) at Indiana (9-18 SU, 11-16 ATS). The Hawks will be looking to bounce back from a 124-104 loss in Denver on Wednesday night, with Al Horford going for 18 points and 11 rebounds in the losing cause. The Pacers’ losing streak went to four games Tuesday night, as they were defeated 103-94 on the road in Boston.

Also on the NBA slate for Saturday: Memphis at Dallas, New Orleans at Chicago, Charlotte at Oklahoma City, Washington at Minnesota, San Antonio at Milwaukee, Philadelphia at Utah, the Lakers at Sacramento, Phoenix at Golden State, and Houston at New Jersey. The Nets (2-27 SU, 8-20-1 ATS) lost their eighth straight game Wednesday, as they were beaten 103-99 by the T-Wolves.

As well, there’s one college basketball game on the Saturday schedule, with No. 6 West Virginia at Seton Hall. The Mountaineers (9-0 SU, 3-5 ATS) got past Mississippi 76-66 in their last game, with Wellington Smith pouring in 19 points. The Pirates (9-1 SU, 2-2- ATS) trounced Navy 94-56 in their game Tuesday night.

Taking a trip around the rink . . .

The NHL returns to action on Saturday night with 13 games on the schedule, including New Jersey at Washington. The 26-8-1 Devils won their fifth straight game last time out, blanking the Penguins 4-0 on Monday night. The 23-8-6 Capitals got past Buffalo by a score of 5-2 in their last game on Wednesday night. Nicklas Backstrom had a pair of goals for Washington against the Sabres.

Also on the ice on Saturday: Ottawa at Buffalo, Columbus at Detroit, Philadelphia at Carolina, the Islanders at the Rangers, Montreal at Toronto, Atlanta at Tampa Bay, Chicago at Nashville, St. Louis at Minnesota, Dallas at Colorado, Los Angeles at Phoenix, Edmonton at Vancouver, and Anaheim at San Jose. The 22-8-7 Sharks beat the Blackhawks by a score of 3-2 in their last game on Tuesday.
