Adam Meyer, Jonathan Stone, and Wayne Allyn Root Great Marketers; Matt Rivers Proven Winner

Radio handicappers Adam Meyer, Jonathan Stone, and Wayne Allyn Root get out the marketing machine, but Matt Rivers pumps out winners. Picking up where he left off, he was the winningest handicapper ever on a large network of handicapping sites before being promoted to The Show.

Yesterday his NFL Game of the Year on the San Diego Chargers wins easily on Christmas Day.

His comp pick is to go with the Milwaukee Bucks at home against San Antonio. They are getting 2.5 at BetUs.

I am not a conspiracy theorist at all and do not believe in the so-called "trap game" but when a game in the NBA appears to be too easy more times than not it isn't and that has got to be the case here.

Even with Michael Redd getting healthy and Brandon Jennings blossoming into a future All-Star there is no doubt that Greg Popovich' Spurs are the definite better team on the court today. Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili and Richard Jefferson are a team that has a potential championship upside. They have not always shown that this season as Jefferson at times has been terrible and 15-11 is not that great of a record at all but they are better than the Bucks.

So why is this line so low? I have absolutely no earthly idea and that is why I expect a big-time victory for the hometown Bucks as somebody knows something about something.

Scott Skiles' should have his team's attention after the egg they just laid at home against the Wizards. Washington pretty much led from wire to wire in that thing and won with relative ease. One could say that after starting the season 8-3 the Bucks have somewhat shot their wad and regressed. That may be true but this game seems way too easy for the Spurs and I'm not falling for it.

Milwaukee has shown this season that they are better than what most people believed they would be as their Vegas total was right around 27 and I just have to believe that the oddsmakers are telling us something with this number.

For those who haven't yet witnessed the greatness of Rivers, here was what he had yesterday:

Vince Young and Chris Johnson are an amazing dynamic duo that has turned Jeff Fisher's team around in amazing fashion. Nobody can contain Johnson and Young has matured into a legitimate NFL quarterback. But the Titans are still not a team that really just rolls over quality opponents and last week we saw an example of not being able to cover a decent sized number against a decent enough opponent in the Dolphins.

Tennessee had that game easily, up by 15 fairly late and then watched Chad Henne and the fish make some big plays sending that thing into overtime. The Titans did escape for their seventh win in their last eight games and are playing great since the 0-6 start but today they have finally met their match in the even hotter Chargers and a team that is as elite as elite can be right now.

Philip Rivers has become a bona fide stud that can absolutely dominate games. The guy is an MVP candidate and has a ton of weapons including the semi rejuvenated LaDainian Tomlinson. Throw in Antonio Gates and Darren Sproles and monster receivers that continue to make plays and I just do not see the Titans as the team that should be favored today. Plus it's not like the road or the month of December fazes San Diego as all they have done in both is win game after game after game and against upper echelon opponents.

San Diego hasn't lost in almost three full months as they were 2-3 after the home loss to Denver and are now an amazing 11-3. You do the math.

The Chargers' defense isn't as great as in past seasons thanks to Shawn Merriman's injuries and regression along with a few other issues but the defense will play the run and be alright here.

The bottom line is that even if Tennessee wins the game covering a full field goal is not going to be easy as the Chargers will be in this game throughout as they still need to win to wrap up that second spot in the AFC. And to be honest with you I just don't see the Titans, even at home and even as good as they become, being able to win this game. Both Bullock and Thornton are out and the Chargers are locked and loaded and ready to become 12-3.
