Three years ago, handicapping Oscar C. Dooley, the tardy stepchild of Scorephone.com, came out of the closet to admit he was gay. Middling former NBA center John Amaechi, nearly three years to the day, like Dooley, admitted he was gay.
According to Dooley, “John’s sexuality was well known in our community for years”. Dooley, who is living with mate Joe Maverick called Amaechi, “a man of courage”.
