ATLANTA +7.5 Chicago
We will be the first to admit the break came at the right time for Chicago and the wrong time for Atlanta. However, the Hawks have picked up the pace of their games, which had led to their best play of the year. Chicago on the other hand is struggling greatly.
Atlanta has won 6-of-7 SU on the road. Yes, 6-1 their last seven. With no support in Atlanta, it’s no shock they play better on the road. The road team is 10-3 SU in their alst 13 games. Chicago has lost 5-of-6 SU. A huge reason is the absence of key bench player Andre Nocioni, who not-so-coincidently has missed six straight games. Without Nocioni, the Bulls’ bench has averaged only 22.1 points in the last six games. Nocioni averages 15 points and six boards.
He is doubtful for the Bulls’ home game tonight against the Atlanta Hawks. Nocioni continued his regimen of riding a stationary bike and added elliptical work and spot shooting.
